Management Accountant

I am currently recruiting for a fantastic, rapidly growing organisation in South Birmingham who are looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to help bring processes up to the standard that their growth is experiencing. The role suits a Newly Qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate from Industry background who has brilliant experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and partnering key areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Production of monthly Management Accounts for multiple legal entities
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and strong balance sheet control (accruals, prepayments, unbilled/deferred Income)
Produce a detailed analysis and reconciliation of actual transactions against expected forecast for inclusion in monthly reporting packs
Preparation of monthly reporting for review
Close partnering and liaison with business to ensure accurate forecasting and identification of risks and opportunities along with a clear understanding of any variances
Providing financial support to non-financial managers and ensuring that the forecast represents the operational and commercial opportunities of the business unit
Promoting strong financial control and cost control within the business
Ad hoc finance-related tasks to support the function of this role

Key Attributes:
ACCA/CIMA Newly Qualified
3 Years experience in Management Accounts
Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail
Use of Excel on a daily basis essential
