Financial Control Manager - Uxbridge - £50,000 - £55,000 Plus Benefits

I am currently supporting a world-renowned business based in the Hammersmith area on the recruitment of a Financial Control Manager. This is an opportunity to join a leading brand offering excellent growth opportunities in an organisation with a fast paced and dynamic working environment.

In this role you will be responsible for various aspects of the company's external financial reporting and technical accounting function. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation and review of the company's financial statements and management report for the year-end and interim reporting process

Development and implementation of accounting policies

Serve as a resource to the business for technical accounting research

Provide support to the external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly review

Complete monthly journal entries, reconciliations and reporting

Lead and manage special projects and technical accounting reviews

Assist in the accounting and reporting for acquisitions and divestitures

Keep up to date with accounting standards updates in order to communicate any accounting policy changes to the business

To be considered for this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and have 4-7 years of work experience in accounting and finance. You will also have strong technical accounting knowledge including experience researching and applying IFRS. Experience working within an accounting firm is preferred.

The successful candidate will receive a base salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on experience. Alongside the base salary, you will also enrol on a brilliant benefits scheme including a car allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare.
