A leading women’s fashion retail business based in the heart of London is looking for a management accountant to join their tem on 6 month contract with extension possibility, to take responsibility for all aspects of day to day financial operations, cash flows, monthly and annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting and the development of systems and processes
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing all finance and accounting work streams
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Preparing, reviewing and distributing monthly management accounts
- Monthly reconciliations of the bank account, P&L and balance sheet
- Liaising with external accountants on various topics including payroll and VAT returns
- Weekly cash flow preparation
- Automating internal invoicing using Xero
- Weekly supplier payments
- Updating KPI's daily
- General book keeping
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA/CA or equivalent and 2 years' PQE minimum
- Experience having worked for a Big 4 is beneficial
- At least 2 years PQE
- Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
