Management Accountant

Brewster Pratap are currently recruiting for an experienced Accountant either AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar or Qualified by experience. Work for a leading UK Manufacturing business based in Harrogate. The company is ideally situated for people living in Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon or Skipton, north Leeds. You must be an all round accountant who is not only technically strong but also has the skills and personality to challenge processes.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the on-site FD, your duties will include:

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts to enable robust close
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Tax Packs
• Month-end journals
• VAT completion
• Assist on reporting enhancements with Operations team
• Margin analysis resulting from more robust production data
• Monitoring of sales rebates

THE PERSON:

• Qualified AAT, Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA, AAT or Qualified by experience
• Commercial awareness
• Experience in a similar role within a Finance Department
