Blackwaters is recruiting a Group Reporting Manager on behalf of a UK listed products-based group near to Basingstoke.

The role will reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting and will be responsible for the international financial reporting functions (stats and consolidations)

A varied role, this will provide excellent scope across the business.

Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support the Head of Group Financial Reporting with the monthly management accounts including review of submissions from global entities, reserves reconciliations, completion of consolidation entries, completion of consolidated balance sheet schedules, group cashflow etc
  • Half year and year end group statutory accounts and reporting including completion of IFRS journals and notes to the accounts
  • Prepare the annual accounts of the UK Companies in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Identification of opportunities for process improvements including close timetables, preparation of group policies and procedures and assisting reporting entities with compliance

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

  • Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA,CIMA)
  • Strong financial accounting knowledge -  FRS102 and/or IFRS 
  • Experience of consolidation of subsidiaries 
  • Corporation tax exposure
  • PLC reporting
  • ERP systems exposure
  • Strong data manipulation and communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills will be key to be successful within this role due to the nature of working within a team as well as autonomously
  • Strong organisational skills and deadline oriented mindset
