Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit for a newly created Finance Manager position within the Facilities and Services sector based in South Cheshire.

The role comes at an exciting time of growth and will provide scope to develop your financial and commercial skills whilst assisting a Finance Director and on site Management team. The business has been on the acquisition trail and is looking to further expand their market share and portfolio of this particular division.

The business is looking for individuals to who will mirror the ambition and growth plans and will make the role their own whilst carrying out their standard duties. You will be responsible for a small but experienced team.

Key responsibilities required of the Finance Manager are :

  • Assist the FD to provide accurate and timely divisional Financial Information regarding performance for each division on a monthly basis
  • Assist in all aspects of Financial / Management Accounting and Planning
  • Making commercial recommendations and assist with budget planning and forecasting for non-Finance staff ( multi-site)
  • Production of monthly KPI packs across the business
  • Oversee a small accounting / transactional function, increase efficiency and internal processes
  • Group consolidation of results and reporting on a quarterly basis to Senior Management Team
  • Carry out site Audits to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed
  • Consolidation and Reporting on performance for all trading companies within the group

Key requirements of the Finance Manager role;

  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA or actively studying towards qualification
  • Excellent soft and communication skills to lead a small team, motivate staff, implement changes.
  • Clear communicator to liaise with non-finance staff and relay financial and budgetary advice and information
  • Commercial acumen to interpret, report and provide MI to Board members
