Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis in South Stockport/Derbyshire. Joining a well known and cash rich Manufacturing company, you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working within a team of 9.

Your duties will include but are not limited to;

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L accounts, balance sheets and overhead variance analysis
• Preparation of the monthly financial statements
• Provide relevant, meaningful financial information to other departmental managers
• Annual review of Sarbanes Oxley process documentation
• Monthly reporting including variance reporting, sales & margin analysis and inventory analysis
• Budget & Forecasting
• Maintain nominal ledgers
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset database, including depreciation
• Process monthly accruals, prepayments and journals
• Support in the completion of the annual stat accounts and corporation tax submissions
• Support the external and internal audit process

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is Qualified in ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by experience.

This role will suit someone who works well under pressure and commercially focused.

Excellent systems and excel skills will be required within this position.
