Group Financial Controller

A leading global distributor is currently recruiting for an experienced, driven and high potential Group Financial Controller to support the UK financial operations.  Supporting the Chief Financial Officer, you will operate as a key member of the strategic leadership team to drive performance and change across the business.  Along with mentoring the finance team based in the UK and US, you will be responsible for senior level operational accounting and strategy.  

The Group Financial Controller role will manage financial reporting, management reporting and statutory control for the business, along with ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and internal controls.  The role will also focus on analysis of monthly Key Performance Indicators, debtor and creditor management as well as treasury for overseas accounts and interest rate swaps. Ad-hoc analytical support will be offered to the CEO and CFO as well as overseeing the annual budgeting process and the monthly forecasting process. 

This opportunity would suit an ambitious, technically strong Financial Controller who is keen to deliver results and work in a fast paced environment. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to manage internal and external relationships is essential. You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience working within manufacturing or FMCG.  Advanced Excel skills, good modelling and commercial capabilities are key for this position.
