A newly created role has arisen for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Systems Accountant, who will take responsibility for implementing a standard costing structure model and developing the subsequent processes. Based in Hull, this role is with one of the area's major employers and will be challenging, rewarding and will offer the opportunity of being part of a period of rapid development within information systems and technology with this forward thinking organisation.
THE ROLE
-Develop an interim costing model highlighting variances to budget and adjusts to the standard costing model
-Support the business to understand how standard costing can drive decision making
-Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system, working closely with the IT team to identify and resolve any defects in the system
THE CANDIDATE
- The successful candidate will work closely with the whole finance team both locally and regionally, auditors, banks and financial institutions
-You will be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent relationship building with colleagues and be able to work to deadline achieving objectives, complying with KPIs
-Although a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant is the ideal, candidates who are part qualified with the required background, skills and experience will also be considered.
-Previous experience of SAP would be desirable
-Candidates must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as having the ability to extract and manipulate data from a variety of sources.
