Brewster Pratap are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant / Accountant in Halifax who is either AAT qualified, Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or similar) or newly qualified or similar.
Due to company expansion this is a newly created all round Assistant Accountant / Accountant role where you will have ownership of your own work and have exposure and development in all aspects of Financial and Management Accounts. This is a great opportunity to work for a rapidly growing business that has grown organically and through acquisition over the last 12 months.
The business is easily accessible by road with free parking, so would suit anyone travelling from Huddersfield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Hebdon Bridge and South Leeds
THE JOB:
Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties will include
- The Production of Management and Financial Accounts for review by senior Accountants
- Producing Weekly P & L & KPI reports
- Cost Accounting and variance analysis
- Have ownership of the monthly balance sheet
- Control Accounts reconciliation's
- Managing the Fixed asset register
- Assisting with year end Audit
- Using Sage 200 Accounts system
THE BENEFITS:
This is an urgent requirement to start ASAP, salary up to £32,000 + benefits including study support and progression.
You must have current experience producing full sets of Accounts and be currently studying an accountancy professional qualification.
