A prestigious international conservation charity is looking for a bright, up and coming finance manager to join their London based team. Working with coastal communities across South East Asia, the Finance Manager will focus on building relationships internationally and providing indispensable support to country teams.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, key responsibilities include:
* Analysing monthly management information
* Preparing reports for key donors
* Developing month-end journals
* Putting together budgets for grant proposals
* Capacity building with overseas teams
* Preparing financial statements for the trading subsidiary of the charity
Not only does this role offer wide-ranging responsibility and the scope to add real value to the organisation, this role also offers the opportunity to travel to country offices to work with teams there and develop and improve key processes.
The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified with at least three years' experience in either practice or within a finance team. This suits someone looking to learn and progress quickly within the International Charity sector. Exposure to the International Charity sector would be advantageous but is not essential, more important is the ability to communicate at all levels and to be really motivated to progress and learn. Fundamentally, the candidate must have a keen eye for problem solving and approach all tasks positively and demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a team that rewards hard work and offers the chance to take on more responsibility and build finance skills as part of a well-respected charity. If you aspire for career development and the chance to travel for your role as part of an international charity, please do get in touch. Applications are under constant review and this role may be filled before the closing date.
