Credit Controller

I am currently recruiting for an experienced credit controller to join a finance function based in Trafford park. Working for a multinational company, you will be responsible for maintaining the sales ledger, including new customer take-procedures, allocation of customer receipts, timely cash collections and maintaining accurate customer information.


Key duties include:

*Provide a cash collection service - polite specific e-mails/telephone calls to customers requesting timely payments of not yet due and overdue invoices.
*Maintain and update a customer contact list.
*Prepare accurate documentation for cash collection e.g. Invoices, Account Statements, Delivery Notes, Credit Notes any other information that customers may request.
*Resolve under-payments with the customer, Customer Service Team and Sales Team.
*Responding to audit requests from customers.

We are looking for a candidate with around a solid history of working as a Sales Ledger Clerk, is IT literate and has good communication skills, both verbal and written. Great attention to detail, accuracy and time management are essential, as is the ability to work independently and possess a sense of urgency. Exposure to multiple currencies would be an advantage.
