Transactional Finance Manager

Transactional Finance Manager / Merseyside / Salary £25,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits / Permanent Role

Nixon Caunce Associates are looking to recruit an an experienced Transactional Finance Manager for a rapidly growing SME based in Merseyside to join their friendly and motivated Finance team. You will ensure that the ledger is kept accurate and look at ways to improve the efficiency of process' and implement new ones. The company has a fantastic team culture and the successful candidate will be keen to get stuck in and be a self motivated team player who picks things up quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control teams
• Responsibility for effective cash flow forecasting for the business
• Daily treasury and working capital reporting
• Responsibility for the petty cash
• Full responsibility of aged debtor and creditor analysis
• VAT returns
• Ensuring effective compliance and controls are adhered to
• Run 121's, appraisals and team meetings
• Ad hoc financial projects as and when required

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring all work is completed under strict deadlines
• Driving improvements in effectiveness, efficiency and control

What do we need from you?

• A proven track record of effectively supervising teams
• Be a strong communicator and able to manage internal relationships
• Be highly organised and efficient
• AAT Level 4 Qualified
