Interim CFO

A fantastic 12-month opportunity has arisen with a SaaS business recently backed by PE, the company is based in Central London. We are looking for a hands-on but also commercially focused Interim CFO to assist this exciting SaaS business in a period of rapid growth, where you will be replacing the outgoing permanent CFO. The PE house envisages further growth through M&A activity, this pivotal period of development for the business will be paramount to meet the goals of the company and its PE backers.

Key responsibilities:

Financial Control:

Ensure tight financial controls and procedures are in place to support and manage a business that will continue to grow.

Ensure the business exploits financial benefits of scale as it rapidly grows

Corporate Finance:

Oversee the analysis of investment opportunities

Oversee M&A across the UK & Europe

Accounting & Reporting:

Ensure timely and accurate production of financial accounts and statutory reporting and ensure that accurate financial information is available at all times

Production, distribution and analysis of management accounts to provide absolute transparency to benefit the PE backers and the whole of management.

Strategy:

Lead the forecasting and planning process to ensure that all eventualities are considered and planed for input to the broader strategic development

Financial Operations

Build, lead and manage the finance team as the company grows

Design, implement and maintain appropriate policies and controls

We need a high-caliber Interim CFO with a solid track record of prior interim assignments. SaaS experience is essential. Prior experience within PE backed businesses and leading M&A activity is also essential.
