A successful multi sited manufacturing business which has been established for 20 years are looking appoint a Management Accountant to work closely alongside the Financial Director, supporting in the day to day operations of the department. This is an exciting role for a reliable, bright , highly organised and enthusiastic candidate who holds previous management accounts experience together with experience of fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
The duties of the Management Accountant will include:
- Monthly Management Accounts,
- Balance Sheet controls
- KPI reporting
- VAT returns
- Supervising and mentoring two junior members of the finance team
- Assisting with payroll and ledger duties
The best suited candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated , with strong communication skills and Excel skills including pivot tables and V look ups. Our client is happy to consider candidates who are qualified by experience, part CIMA qualified or a stopped studier.
