We are currently looking for a qualified Cash Analyst (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to join a leading television distribution company. Due to an exciting period of growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Cash Analyst to join the Finance department in this newly created commercial role.

The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Royalty Advances

  • Managing the approval process to ensure advance requests are prepared and reviewed prior to signature of acquisition contracts.
  • Working with the acquisitions team to maintain a long range forecast of advance payments.
  • Raising advance POs and accruals on signature of contracts.
  • Providing analysis on the profile of advances paid or forecast for operational review papers.

Cash Receipts

  • Working with other members of Finance and the operational teams to maintain a long range forecast of cash inflows.
  • Monitoring key debtors to ensure payment terms are met and cash is received on time.
  • Supporting the Finance team's sales ledger manager in chasing key debtors and maintaining the flow of receipts.

Modelling

  • Owning the full monthly cash flow model and cash inputs to the Month End Reporting Pack.
  • Completing the Budget and Forecast cash flow models.
  • Monitoring currency movements and trends, forecasting currency gains and losses and carrying out sensitivity analysis.

The ideal candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or highly numerate background.
  • Must have experience in financial modelling - experience of investment analysis or bid modelling would be an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills a must, as well as being comfortable working with large volumes of data.
  • Experience in television distribution/licensing environment preferred
