Interim Finance Director

Your new company
Hays are currently working exclusively with a highly reputable market leading business in the Norfolk region to recruit a highly skilled and commercially astute Finance Director on an interim basis for a minimum of 6 months.

Your new role
The main purpose of the role will be to work in close conjunction with the MD of the business to oversee the financial control of the business and act as a business partner to make commercially viable business decisions. You will be responsible for negotiating with customers and suppliers to obtain competitively priced services, liaising with external stakeholders and presenting relevant and informative financial reports for board members and senior management on a monthly basis. You will be tasked with overseeing an established finance team and producing monthly forecast updates as well as advising the MD and other departments on best business practice.

In addition you will also be responsible for the continuous review of systems and financial controls to aid the development and compliance of the organisation.

This is a full time post for a minimum of 6 months but could be extended further.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience within a similar number one finance role within a highly commercial setting. You will need to be able to present confidently and credibly to a senior management board of a PLC company and you must be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified. You will also need to be immediately available or available on short notice to interview and start work.
