An excellent opportunity to join a World-leading Management Consultancy in supporting the development of a new Management Information system as well as BAU FP&A and potential exposure to M&A. The Financial Planning and Analysis Team is heavily involved in this ongoing project, ensuring it can continue to provide the business with information that is insightful, accurate and relevant.

Our client requires additional urgent support on a 6 month interim (to permanent) basis to cover both day-to-day operations, while team members support project work, and the development of the new MI system itself. This makes this an interesting and varied role with regular exposure to senior management and visibility of key trends and changes within the business.
The role is primarily positioned in the London based Financial Planning and Analysis Team, within the Finance Function. This is a key analytical role reporting into the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.
This role features work across multiple functions and covers the following key areas:
-Support the preparation, production and consolidation of weekly KPI reporting, monthly management reporting and board packs, quarterly forecast and annual budget reporting
-Perform ad hoc analysis of both structured and unstructured data in Excel and Microsoft Power BI (similar to Tableau and Qlik)
-Support and assist the FP&A and Commercial Finance teams in the development of new business reporting
-Prepare and review analysis to highlight trends and variances
-Provide insight to the business to aid forward looking decision making
-Ad-hoc analytic and data validation tasks as required

The successful candidate will be an immediately available, Part-qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent Finance Analyst with proven experience in business modelling, financial analysis and data visualisation. You will have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. You must be self-motivated and very proactive, with good analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and able to demonstrate confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders.
