Robertson Bell Finance are working with a leading Property Development Group to recruit a bright and enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the main responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant are as follows:
*Responsibility for managing the fixed asset register.
*Reconciling accounts for all scheme developments, whilst managing the month end process.
*Ensure the timely delivery of all component accounting.
*Reconciling balance sheet accounts for the project.
*Provide ad hoc financial information to assist with business decisions.
*Preparation of monthly Capital Accounting journals.
This is a truly interesting role due to it's rounded nature; it provides exposure to management as well as financial accounts and the opportunity to take a leading role with your own property portfolio. The role sits in a lively, fun team within an organisation that has a great culture. The successful candidate must be actively studying for an accountancy qualification and be at a part-qualified level. Experience within property or real estate is desirable but by no means essential.
