My client is a growing division of a leading residential development company who are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director in the future development of the region.
Responsibilities
- To support the regional finance director in providing financial and commercial analysis to ensure that the region is able to progress towards achieving its objectives
- Manage the production of regional management accounts, forecasts and plans to ensure all regional financial deadlines are met
- Support and liaise with regional and group staff on financial issues
Your duties will include:
- Liaise with regional board, regional senior management and central services to oversee, control and, in conjunction with the regional finance director, produce and complete management plans in accordance with strict deadlines
- Monitor regional performance against management plans
- Production of monthly forecasts including any associated analysis
- Review of monthly site overhead reports and investigation into the variances thereupon.
- Monthly sales & marketing and customer care cost reviews
- Assist the regional finance director in controlling general overheads, complying with Company policies, procedures and best practice at all times
- Liaise and support external auditors through the half year and year-end audit
- Assist the regional finance director in developing, controlling and implementing strategies which enable effective financial control and management of the region
- Maintain, update and support the regional financial systems and assist in their development
- Maintain land bank data in liaison with land director
- Regular chasing and reporting of outstanding sundry debtors
- Ad hoc duties
You will be a qualified accountant who is prepared to take a hands on approach. You will be highly organised, able to deliver under pressure, and have exceptional communication skills as you are required to deal with people at all levels.
