Peterborough, United Kingdom – Our client, a well renowned business in their sector with a national presence, is seeking to recruit a Head of Finance Business Partnering. Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Finance Business Partnering is a critical senior finance role and is responsible for the management of 6 remotely located Finance Business Partners in the Finance Business Partnering Team whose core objective is the provision of first class finance support and advice, ensuring oversight and challenge of financial performance and management on behalf of the group. You will be responsible for taking a lead role in the analysis and communication of financial information to ensure high quality decision making and supporting the future growth of the organisation. You will provide executive level advice and support for operational and strategic finance and drive continuous improvement across the wider business. As Head of Finance Business Partnering you will manage all aspects of the Group’s budget, financial forecasts and business planning processes as well as key finance projects, to ensure resources are utilised effectively and deadlines met. You will manage and motivate the Business Partnering team and provide training and advice to Business Managers when required on budgeting and strategic planning to ensure compliance with best practice and group policy. The successful candidate will be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and have strong technical ability in management and financial accounting principles and techniques through business partnering in a multi-site organisation as well as experience of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and project management. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to confidently work with and influence senior management and be able to lead and contribute to the development of the Group’s strategic plans.
