Our client is a small engineering consultancy business who is seeking a Part Time Finance Director 1 day per week. The role will provide support to the Senior Management and to assist them structure the business for sale.
Responsibilities entail;
- Supervising & mentoring the finance department
- Review current systems and processes
- Provide advice to the Directors in order to optimise the company's financial performance and strategic position
- Point of contact for lawyers and advisers
- Assist the directors with advice and support on the corporate structure needed for sale
- Production of information for potential purchasers
Qualifications and experience
- Experience as a finance director in professional services / consultancy sector
- SME Experience where being hands on is essential
- Must have completed at least one recent business exit
- Experience of vendor due diligence and data rooms
