A NASDAQ listed international Retailer is actively recruiting a Finance Manager to join a high profile team. This is brand new role that has arisen due to growth within the business.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller and managing a team of 2, your key responsibilities will include:

  • All month end deliverables and adhere to the time frames set including liaison with Operational teams to ensure accuracy of month end results
  • Produce monthly reporting for central business areas including variance analysis – including review of results vs budget / forecast.
  • Ownership, identification and follow-up of potential financial control weaknesses in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Own and manage the preparation of the annual and half yearly statutory accounting for the company; as well as manage the year end process
  • Budgeting, forecasting and associated analysis.
  • Responsible for ensuring management accounts team maintain local compliance with VAT and other taxes
  • Ownership of cash flow planning and management and FX forecasting
  • Manage the relationship and KPI’s with the Financial Shared Services Team
  • Provision of general analytical support and ad hoc projects to the IT Financial Controller and IT Finance Director

The ideal profile will be a Practice trained candidate from a top tier firm. This role will interface with various divisions globally so strong communication skills are essential for this role.. An individual with prior experience working in a large/complex organisation is beneficial but the business will also consider candidates straight from Practice looking to make their first move into industry.

This is a fantastic role for an individual who is keen to make an impact within an international business that has embarked on significant period of change.  The ideal candidate would use this role as an entrance point into a great business and look to move internally within 18 months – 2 years.
