Accountant

Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to joining a leading Plc in Cobham Surrey to cover a yearlong maternity contract. Working within the private office you need to be confident at dealing with Board level members and the discretion and confidentiality associated with the position.

The primary purpose of the role is the assume responsibility for the private accounts for key members providing monthly reports on income & expenditure, production of P&L and reconciling multiple bank accounts. In addition you will have some involvement in more general matters including managing tenancy agreements &contract renewals.

The successful candidate MUST possess strong and current Sage skills and be an accountant with outstanding communication and initiative. Full training and support will be given during a handover of 1 month. We are looking for the position to start early September there is a very real prospect of this position going permanent.
