Finance Manager

A well known restaurant business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to join its finance function.

This is a key role within the central finance team. Managing a team of three, and overseeing all aspects of management and financial accounting, tax and cash for the group. Main duties include:

-Take ownership of the group's more complex areas of accounting, including impairment review, purchase price allocation, exceptional items, derivatives etc.

-Accounting for bank and shareholder loans, and intercompany accounting

-Oversee and manage the assistant accountant, reviewing fixed asset accounting.

-Manage and review the work of the tax accountant, overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely submission of the group tax returns, the VAT returns.

-Working closely with company's advisors on tax issues

-Manage and oversee the work of the cash book analyst, including review of bank reconciliations.

-Managing day to day relationships with the groups bank

-Overseeing the daily cashflow forecasts

-Working with the Property Director, maintain the groups new openings/refurb schedule.

-Do the period end Capex accruals

-Oversee the fixed asset processing and fixed asset note produces monthly by the Assistant Accountant.

You will be ACA/ACCA trained either looking for your first move into industry or doing a similar finance manage role. This role would suit a solution orientated, organised person who enjoys working in fast paced environment. This role works closely with the larger finance team, and external advisors and stakeholders
