The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
- Processing large volumes of purchase invoices
- Maintaining, reconciling and controlling purchase and sales ledgers
- Arranging supplier payments for client approval
- Meeting client deadlines for payment runs
- Recording bank transactions and reconciling client bank accounts
- Producing financial statements including trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
- Collating and analysing accounts data and generating financial reports
- Responding to client enquiries and requests promptly via telephone and email
- Communicating effectively with other departments and teams to increase overall business and cross selling opportunities
