Finance Controller

Here is a wonderful opportunity to join a gorgeous hotel as their Financial Controller.

The crux of your role will be to drive the Finance Strategy ensuring maximization of revenues whilst minimizing costs and providing leadership and encouragement to the Hotel Team in order to meet and exceed guests' expectations and enhancing our reputation for excellence.

Accountabilities are but not limited to:

• Complete financial accounts
• Asset management
• Expenses
• Variance reporting
• Liaising with Revenues Manager and sales team to determine yield strategy of the hotel
• Monitoring the correct billing revenues, cash control, float balances and credit balances
• Provides accurate wage forecast
• Implement and maintain accounting control procedures
• Manage and maintain the accounting office, purchasing, goods receiving area, stores, F&B cost control and payroll
• Produces daily and weekly reports to include P&L accounts, audited year end accounts and annual budget packs
• To manage and ensure accurate controls are in place for Sales Ledger, Inventories, Cashiers and other floats, bank deposits, Reconciliation's and movement of funds, foreign currency exchange, Purchase ledger, Fixed Asset Register, Trial balance, Cost Accounting, Taxes and Insurance Policies

This is a great opportunity for someone with the above experience to join this hotel and whilst hotel experience is desirable, it is not essential, but full qualification with ACCA, CIMA or ACA is essential.
