Group Reporting Accountant

Communicate are working with a global business services firm based in West London. This is a six month interim opportunity reporting directly to the Head of Reporting and Business Analysis. This is a progressive opportunity that holds long term potential and could therefore evolve into a permanent opportunity.

This role is available due to company growth, you will be required to lead and manage the reporting process providing direct support to the Group Financial Controller, Group Finance Director and Head of Reporting and Business Analysis. You will also take full responsibility for:

• Managing month end processes, consolidating and preparing monthly management accounts, analysing data and providing commentary for board review.
• Planning and producing year-end statutory financial statements which includes; data collection, analysis and consolidation to therefore produce the group’s annual report in conjunction with audit, tax, treasury and legal departments.
• Liaising and building relationships with staff at all levels to provide guidance in respect of accounting policies and practice, and to ensure that all requested data and information is received on an accurate and timely basis.  
• Managing a small team and work continuously to improve the quality and timelines relating to all aspects of the group reporting process.  

This role will suit an individual who is ACA/ACCA qualified accountant who has strong consolidation analytical and managerial skills.  Experience of working within a group environment or a large practice firm would be advantageous.
