Detailed Job Description
As part of a new European finance model, Michael Page are pleased to be partnering exclusively with Nufarm to source a Finance Business Partner to work across the finance function.
Reporting to the Regional CFO, the Finance Business Partner will have the combination of being technically strong and possessing commercial awareness with the ability to drive results. You will need the ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders throughout the business, working closely with finance and non-finance departments to ensure a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities will include:
- Actuals analysis
- Budgets and Forecasting
- Strategic review of profitability, implementing and driving efficiencies
- KPI management and review
- Projects management
- Activities within capital project accounting
- Monitor and track capital projects and budget spending
- Close/capitalize projects
- Measure financial returns on completed capital projects
- Activities within Profit centre accounting /cost management
- Report on profitability
- Expense management
- Amortisation review and analysis
Candidate's Profile
Nufarm are ideally looking for a candidate with a recognised Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and who has experience in the agri-chem sector. However they are open on this for the right person.
You will also be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to interact with individuals in the business at all levels.
Ideally you will also possess:
- Project accounting experience
- Contract experience
