A leading construction and property consultancy is currently looking for an influential and commercially astute Finance Director. This is a high-profile role within a forward-thinking business and you would take overall responsibility for all financial aspects of the group of firms, forming a close working relationship with the Managing Partner of the LLP and the Managing Directors of the businesses within the Group (3 in total), working collaboratively under shared ownership and a common management philosophy.

The Role
As Financial Lead, working closely with the Managing Partner and Senior Executives, you will take ownership of the financial strategy and reporting, using sound analysis to help guide the decision-making process for growth and profitability. You would be expected to coordinate corporate finance and manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions, ensure that all financial systems are robust, compliant support current activities and future growth, plus lead and develop the finance teams within the group. You will play an integral role as part of an ambitious senior leadership team.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished and commercially minded individual with a successful record of financial management and control. You will be ACCA / FCA / CIMA qualified. You must be able to demonstrate an in depth understanding of financial regulations, accounting practices and risk management, and must be able to demonstrate a commitment to good governance.

Previous experience of planning and delivering budgets and leading finance functions is essential. You will be working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the group and thus strong communication and influencing skills will be required. The role will suit an energetic, highly motivated and insightful leader with a passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
