Job Overview:
Reporting to the European Brand Finance Manager, the Analyst is to assist in ensuring that forecasting is accurate and timely, along with providing reporting and decision support to the European Commercial Teams.
The candidate will be a key contributor to the quarterly forecasting and monthly performance tracking processes, working with both Finance and Non Finance colleagues across Europe to further understanding of financial performance. Supporting decision making on new products the individual will gain a strong insight into the product line up and the levers which can be used to influence profitibility and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing costing accumptions for forecasting and modelling of European entities profitability.
- Updating Forecasting documents with costing and new products to enable easy consolidation.
- Prepartion of European VCA submissions for review by Brand Finance Manager.
- Assist in the production and further development of European Commercial Reports.
- Primary Brand Finance contact for one European Market, delivering the day to day challenge and commercial support, whilst supporting the Finance Manager on other markets.
- Adhoc Reporting
- Assit in the development of standard models and tools for the commercial teams.
- Record and support governance of pricing across Europe, in order to ensure Audit requirements.
- Liaise with European Finance Managers to gain understanding of financial transactions.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Part-qualified / Qualified accountant with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, detail oriented, work independently and a self-starter.
- Ability to communicate.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Ability to work under pressure as a team player.
- Experience working with SAP and Business Intelligence.
- Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen
