Senior Finance Manager

This role is a number 2 to the Financial Controller with responsibility for the monthly accounting activities and reporting for Alliance Healthcare (IT) Services Limited.  This role will be required to develop integral management accounts to facilitate a robust understanding of both balance sheet and income statement analytics and to drive continuing improvement of processes and internal controls.
Specifically responsible for all month end deliverables and adhere to the time frames set including liaison with operational teams to ensure accuracy of month end results.
Produce monthly reporting for central business areas including variance analysis – including review of results vs budget / forecast.
Ownership, identification and follow-up of potential financial control weaknesses in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Preparation of cash flow statements, balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations that provide a robust and detailed understanding of the financial position and performance of  business areas.
Own and manage the preparation of the annual and half yearly statutory accounting for the company; as well as manage the year end process.
Budgeting, forecasting and associated analysis.
Ownership of cash flow planning and management and FX forecasting.
Manage a direct team of 2.

Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
Qualified accountant from practice with relevant post qualification experience (from Big 3 or second Tier)
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the finance functions
Working within strict tight deadlines to ensure the smooth flow of finance data
 Able to work in a head office environment
