Finance Analyst

This role will provide support to a team within the Finance Department and will work with key internal stakeholders across the organisation to provide rigorous detailed support and guidance to optimise performance. Our client is seeking a self-starter who take direction well, is adaptable and open minded, a problem solver, able to help complete a number of projects on the go and balance multiple priorities.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director responsibilities will include:

• Support and challenge internal stakeholders
• Extracting complex data to present required reports to stakeholders and executives
• Provide and present monthly management information to the Executive team and budget holders
• Produce profitability analysis to support decision making, target setting and budgeting
• Identify, innovate and implement improvements to management reporting
• Efficient checking of staff expenses, fuel cards, and spending
• Support identified area of the business with month end procedures, queries, spend analysis, internal processes and investment appraisal

Required experience and skillset:

• Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA - study support available
• Experience of management accounts, reporting, profitability and sensitivity analysis
• Experience of creating and developing complex financial and data driven models
• Experience on JD Edwards would be advantageous
• Advance Excel skills
• Proven analytical and planning skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills
• The ability to communicate with senior stakeholders in the business.
