Accountancy Action is actively recruiting on behalf of a large organisation for a permanent Finance Manager. It is essential that candidates have a strong background as well as experience within a Mid-Tier Accountancy Firm.

Candidates must have excellent working knowledge and understanding of financial management matters and have the ability to liaise with expert technical accountancy advice to both internal and external stakeholders.

The role will require an individual to carry out some UK based travelling, reporting to the Regional Finance Director.

Main Duties:

• Responsible for the effective financial and operational management
• Identify and manage the financial risks
• Develop strong working relationships with Directors, Shareholders, Advisors, Colleagues
• Review of all contractual and funding agreements
• Manage the Business Planning and Model update process
• Prepare the annual operating budget  and deliver
• Present the Business Plan and Model Update to the Board for approval
• Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare reports
• Manage taxation obligations
• Manage the audit process
• Manage all financial reporting requirements

Communication is key as well as being able to develop/maintain complex financial models.
