TEMPORARY AUDIT SENIOR JOB STARTING IN OCTOBER AT A TOP CENTRAL LONDON PRACTICE FIRM.

Only apply if you can start in October.

Your new company
My client is a top practice firm of Chartered Accountants based in the City. Almost 100 years old, this firm has over 300 members of staff and a diverse client portfolio. Boasting international reach whilst investing heavily in Corporate Social Responsibility, this firm gives back and cares not only for their stakeholders, but the environment and the communities it touches too.

This is an award winning client and working for this firm can give you the experience and the edge needed to take your temp career to the next level.

Your new role
You will be acting as an auditor in the Charity division, working with a wide range of not-for-profit organisations such as charities that specialise in social, religious and welfare causes alongside educational organisations including independent schools, and universities etc.

Alongside auditing, you will also be preparing accounts, including consolidated accounts, from both manual and computerised accounting records for the clients when needed.

You will also be briefing, supervising and reviewing the work of more junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
A positive, driven and communicative attitude is required for the right candidate who also possesses:

An ACA or ACCA qualification, experience with auditing not-for-profit organisations, experience with statutory accounts preparation, the ability to delegate to and review the work of junior members of staff, efficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook, and competent communication skills.

It is desirable but not essential that you have experience with Sage or Pro Audit, have been in charge of a team before, and have conducted group audits.

The majority of the clients are based in London and the South East, however as some are further out, flexibility of travel is also desirable.

What you'll get in return
A competitive rate of pay, experience with a top London firm, the opportunity to increase your relationships, and broaden your experience with the not-for-profit sector.
