Finance Analyst
Based in becconsfield, Buckinghamshire, our client is a growing Hi-Tec business looking for a Financial Analyst to join them on a temporary to perm basis.
This job would suit an ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified accountant or qualified by experience to be responsible for supporting the month end process whilst the business recruits a permanent individual into this position (which this person can be considered for if relevant).
This company is a privately owned, global business that continues to invest and develop its product. This is an important position partnering with finance and non-finance line managers in supporting the decision-making processes.
The successful individual will have strong all round management accounting skills with great communication and presentation skills with all levels of finance and non-finance stakeholders. The candidate must be a self-starter who can analyse financial information, interpret the information and relate this to the needs and impact on the business. Strong Excel experience is essential in working with large data sets and manipulating information.
Duties will include:
- Monthly management reporting
- Updating monthly forecasts
- Headcount & Salary forecasting
- Variance analysis of both monthly performance and forecast movements
- Business partnering with the operational and sales teams
- Business modelling
- Financial support to sale & account teams during pricing & bid processes
- Involvement in high profile reporting development and strategic initiatives
- Constantly striving to improve financial and non-financial processes
