An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant has arisen to join an established organisation in Cheshire on a fixed term contract starting asap until June 2018.

Main responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant will include:

- Providing accurate and timely financial management information
- Working with operational managers to ensure they get the financial support they need to successfully manage their budgets
- Helping with the management of the Treasury function
- Involvement in preparing the annual accounts

Essential experience for the Assistant Accountant:

- Part qualified CCAB or AAT qualified or equivalent
- Experience of working in a financial environment
- Experience of budget preparation
- Experience of working with operational managers on budget management
- Experience of working on final accounts
- Experience of working with large financial ledger systems
- Experience of working to deadlines
