A market leading services business, who are part of a larger international Group, require a Management Accountant to join their team in a newly created role based in Southampton.Working closely with the senior finance team, this will be a broad opportunity. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting with the month end process, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and production of the reporting pack to be reviewed by Group.
- Responsible for the statutory accounting process
- Preparation of weekly cash flow reports before submission to Group.
- Reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
- Working closely with Operations on project costs.
The successful applicant will be a part-qualified/newly-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA) with previous experience producing management accounts and analysis of costs. You will also be a strong Excel user who has a natural affinity with process improvement.
