Client Details
We are looking for Credit Risk Analyst with SQL or SAS to be responsible for credit risk strategies spanning the entire customer life-cycle from Application and Fraud Prevention to Existing Customer Strategies.
You will join the Risk Analytics team and be part of driving step-change improvements in credit performance by developing risk models, hypothesis testing, and monitoring portfolio trends.
Description
Performing detailed and well documented analytical analysis to support the development of strategies, policies, models and processes
Analyse and provide recommendations and approval for credit applications within risk policies
Analysis and risk assessment of credit proposals
Add value in finding ways to structure proposals so that an approval can be given, thus maximising risk and reward
Deal with issues within remit and to ensure critical departmental issues are communicated to the management as appropriate
Prepare management reports as required by the Director of Operations within agreed time-frames
Ensure Credit Risk is compliant with internal policies
Ensure Credit Risk is compliant with all relevant local legislation and regulations e.g. Data Protection, Consumer Credit Act, Money Laundering
Profile

Very good SQL or SAS skills
Good programming ability with either Python, R, Scala, Java or Matlab in a data science context (either creating propensity models, segmentations or solving complex problems using optimisations techniques)
Previous Risk Analytics experience in a Financial Services Organization
