Assistant Accountant required for a superb and innovative business based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a role suited to a good finance graduate with some experience supporting month end processes in their current role.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting month end accounts
- Journal postings, including accruals and prepayments
- VAT returns
- Assisting the Senior Management Accountant with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting the transactional team with AP/AR duties
Person requirements
You will be ACCA or CIMA Part-Qualified, with the ambition to rapidly progress through the remainder of your studies as you work your way up this company. There are good progression routes here, so only those with the eagerness to progress will be considered. You must have strong Excel skills, and experience using Sage would be advantageous.
