An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a rapidly growing international tech firm based in central London.

My client is headquartered in central London and provide software solutions to companies globally. They are recognised as 'world class' by peers in their market sector and more broadly, an internationally recognised market leader for Business and IT solutions. The company has offices in New York, Dubai and Sydney and have customers across the Americas, EMEA, Australasia and the ASEAN.

My client is growing rapidly, achieving revenue growth of over 25% annually whilst remaining profitable. The workforce is also growing accordingly and they have expanded to 4 global regions. Key to this growth has been their strong focus on customer retention and exceeding expectations on delivery/service.

Detailed Job Description

This position will be key to supporting their existing financial function and providing the expertise for making company-wide improvements to the reporting efficiency of the team. Specifically:

  • Responsible for the revenue recognition on a monthly basis including revenue cut off at year end 
  • The setup of invoicing and revenue recognition of their new subscription based software, to be released Q4 2017
  • Finance function process improvement - mapping out the current process, identifying where to improve and implementing the change 
  • Responsibility for consolidation of the group companies accounts on a first year audit engagement, including accounts preparation and communication with the audit team.
  • Involvement and overseeing the groups cash flow, ensuring there is enough cash in the correct regions to meet the company's obligations

Financial Accountant's Profile

This position would be well suited to a Financial Accountant looking to make their 1st move from practice into industry with experience of preparing/auditing international consolidations.

Specifically, they will have the following:

  • Professional finance qualification is essential
  • Group consolidation experience (IFRS)
  • Strong academic background
