Accounts Graduate / Assistant Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are exclusively recruiting for an ambitious and rapidly expanding SME in the Doncaster area. Due to a large increase in sales and ambitious growth plans they are looking for an Accounts Graduate or AAT qualified Assistant Accountant to work closely with the FD and be developed into a Qualified Financial Controller.

THE JOB:

Working closely with the Finance Director and alongside an Accounts Clerk and Credit Controller you will be responsible for the following duties with training and support from the team:

• Month end management accounting
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting
• Assisting with year end statutory reporting
• Product costing
• KPIs
• Assisting with Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Payroll year end

THE PERSON:

You will either be a Graduate of an Accounting based degree or AAT qualified (potentially level 4 student) with at least 6 months experience, or with a placement year. You will be self motivated and a good communicator. There will be the opportunity for international travel to Europe and the US.
