Management Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Management Accountant to join the UK operation of this global Manufacturing/Service business based in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent, full time position.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be split into two fortnightly rotations. Two weeks of the month your will be focussed on month-end Management Accounting, creating detailed and concise reporting packs. The other two weeks you will be getting involved with commercial finance projects, partnering with key business stakeholder's to provide ad-hoc analysis and financial planning reports.


This opportunity would suit a part qualified accountant with a progressive and commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities;
* Preparation of Management Accounts
* Identify overspend's and process accruals against missing costs
* Budgeting & forecasting
* Month-end close
* Prepare and post financial adjustments for accruals and prepayments
* Management reporting
* Business partnering with financial and non financial stakeholder's on various ad-hoc projects

Due to the nature of our clients business, proven experience of managing a large cost base and expansive profit and loss account; including variance analysis and cost centre control within a large corporate business is an essential requirement. It would be desirable if you can demonstrate proficiency in using a large ERP eg. SAP
