Newly Qualified ACA - Finance Analyst
£45-£50K + Excellent Progression & Benefits

An outstanding opportunity for a newly ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant to join a household name, FTSE 100 Services Organisation as a Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving forward, developing and implementing effective balance sheet reporting within a tight control environment. In addition, you will support the Financial Controller in other areas of monthly and quarterly reporting and ad-hoc projects.
The organisation are building a new team to help accelerate their journey and deliver ambitious growth plans. They are uniting and enabling market clusters to deliver significant benefits through leveraging the scale they have as the leader in their industry.
Reporting to and supporting the Financial Controller you will be responsible for performing monthly balance sheet reviews of the legal entities (Over 10 global entities) working closely with local management and the Financial Controller and Finance Director.
You will play a key role in the preparation and review of monthly consolidated reporting working closely with local finance teams and the central Finance team. In addition you will play a key role in the coordination of monthly intercompany reporting and support the ongoing development and review of cash flow forecasting across the Division.
On a quarterly basis you will be responsible for the preparation of materials for Divisional reporting including preparation of sector level analytical review, preparation and co-ordination of audit deliverables including the review of legal provisions and support the Financial Controller in resolving Risk Register.
Other tasks co-ordination of the clearance of internal audit pipeline action points across the Division.
Ad-hoc projects for the senior finance team as required and provision of support to the regional teams.
Key Experience:
-Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant (Candidates making their first move after completing their ACA/ACCA qualification in practice are highly desirable).
-Knowledge of Hyperion (desirable but not essential)
-Reporting experience in large corporation finance department or Top 10 Audit Firm(desirable)
-Self-starter and ability to work with ambiguity
-Ability to think and work analytically, including strong problem solving skills
-Clear drive for results, ability to work through obstacles, persistent in identifying quality recommendations and solutions in a timely manner
-Self-motivated, flexible and strong personal development drive with focus on achieving key deliverables
