Our client is a growing and dynamic UK business looking for a new CFO to join the board. The business is owned by a small pool of investors (including the original founder) and is led by a dynamic CEO. The company has both a financial services (FCA regulated) and an e-commerce (non regulated) business, with more than 100,000+ customers spread across the UK. There is a track record of growth through diversification, organic expansion, and strategic acquisitions. The main office is based in London.
Role:
Following recent growth, our client is looking to secure the services of a new CFO to join the board as part of a wider transformation of the business. The aim is to double the company’s EBITDA over the next 5 years. Improved reporting and analysis is required to aid better commercial and strategic decision making, controls and processes need to be strengthened, and the CEO requires a strong individual to help lead the business upon its continued growth journey.
Person:
In addition to the normal technical, commercial and strategic experience expected of a modern CFO, the successful CFO must be fully conversant with and mindful of any Government requirements in relation to Treasury Management, Open Book Accounting and also all Data Protection legislation and FCA/SRA regulations. Candidates who do not have experience of operating within an FCA/SRA or similarly regulated business will unfortunately be rejected.
Package - Paying circa £130,000+ per annum plus package
