SF Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer for our Birmingham based client for 9 - 12 months. This role requires the ideal candidate to prepare balance sheet reconciliations and post journals and be confident in working to strict deadlines. Ideally you will be a graduate with good exposure in a busy finance environment and would be looking to progress with your exams. My client is looking for candidates who have a sound accounting knowledge and can use Excel to a high standard. Furthermore, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to confidently report recommendations and proposals to senior stakeholders. Sharepoint knowledge would put you at a distinct advantage.
As the ideal candidate, you will be immediately available and be able to set budgets and be able to ensure journals and recharges are completed correctly. You will assist with year end duties and be confident in your approach.
