Commercial Finance Analyst

A recognisable business who have seen consistent growth over the past 5 years are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their wider finance function in this newly created role.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance you will be joining a business who have seen 20% growth a year in an evolving and sustainable market. The business offer a collaborative approach throughout the division enabling key financial decisions to be made effective by the parent company.

The role will encompass a range of tasks and help provide key information for all energy departments within the organisation. Duties will include but not limited to liaising with the management accountants to get all relevant information enabling the post holder to present and produce key financial models to senior management. You will support the various divisions through ongoing market framework changes and develop the models as required while providing financial evaluations for energy retailers especially across the smart meter sector- compiling presentations for sign-off within the governance process.
The role will support the bids process as you help build business models for presenting to senior management including scenario based analysis surrounding costings, market share, pricing and product production/installation.

The successful applicant will hold an accredited accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with experience within a commercial setting. You will have strong excel skills, have the ability to manipulate large volumes of data with the confidence to challenge and present to both finance and non finance individual's. This newly created role will suit a commercially astute Management Accountant or a Finance Business Partner with an eye for detail.
