Interim Financial Analyst

Analyst based in Poole, 3 month interim contract £30-35k pro rata

A new opportunity for a growing, international business based in Poole has arisen for an Analyst on a 3 month fixed term contract basis to work within their development business. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Cost Accountant and the capex team assisting the Global Project Management Team in the successful roll out of new build and existing estate projects across the business.

Key responsibilities:

Accurately track and reconcile all financial transactions taking place on a project by project basis between central and local finance systems.

Reconcile all allocated projects on a monthly basis.

Follow up any queries, unreconciled items and profit & loss transfers immediately with the sites and clear within seven days.

Accurately track, control and report seed capital spent for all projects prior to final project approval.

Produce accurate seed capex expenditure summary reports.

Provide ad hoc analysis support to Project Cost Accountant/Senior Capex Reporting Controller.

The candidate:

This role would suit either a part or qualified analyst or management accountant. You will have excellent reconciliation skills, be confident and able to challenge both finance and non finance stakeholders. You will also offer strong systems skills including a high level of Excel and an ability to manage a volume of data.
