The role of Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis Manager has been created following my clients 2017 growth into the West Coast of America following their foothold in the East - this has massively increased opportunities and revenues which has highlighted a need for a new FP&A position to sit in the Manchester Head Offices.

This position will be tasked with spreading "value add methodologies" across the organisation and ensuring that 2018 to 2019 goals are both achievable, and subsequently hit.

This is a role which will give you an all-encompassing commercial role looking at business optimisation and market growth.

The Role

This is a role which is positioned to take you away from "The Numbers" and have you engaged in the businesses growth strategies for the future.

My client is a £185million turnover business with a growth strategy across 2017 which will see them achieve unprecedented growth.

 

The nature of my clients business is such that they have a real growth opportunity, which requires the input of an accounting professional, who understands that this growth will require a foundation of solid accounting practices and procedures which will enable a robust framework to support the commercial and technical upskilling of the teams.

The Commerciality of this role pivot around a high level of Analytical Skills within Excel and highly effective communicative skills. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of a reporting suite which will be to a senior stakeholder group, who are not all from a finance background.

The Person

The successful candidate will have strong influencing skills and be able to put across his or her ideas and views clearly to both peers, team members and the fellow members of the Leadership Team. In addition, he/she will have strong communication skills and be capable of liaising with a broad cross-section of departments, skillsets and capability levels to discuss all matter financial, particularly to assist the compilation of, and adherence to budgets.

Growth is a key aspect to the organisation, however they have stressed that this growth can only be supported through a solid finance foundation. This is why my client wants to recruit a qualified accounting professional, who sees the opportunity that this role brings.

Salary

My client is looking at c£65,000 to c£72,000 plus bonus
