Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be working closely with our high-profile, well-known IT services client, who operate globally with superb results. Due to a high volume of work load, our client requires an experienced Financial Analyst, to sit within the FP&A Team. You will ideally be available at short notice for interviews and to start this position, which initially will be for a period of around 6 months. This role offers the opportunity for someone to come in and use their experience - and you may be part qualified, or qualified by experience, or potentially qualified.

 

This role is to support the FP&A Manager within the International Finance team and your main focus will be supporting the core FP&A activities including business analysis and reporting to the senior management team. This region requires specific support to be provided where required.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly reporting to senior management
  • Support quarterly and annual planning processes
  • Help to coordinate the business units to achieve a timely and accurate submission for each cycle
  • Assist with the implementation of a new Hyperion rolling forecast tool and maintaining the tool thereafter
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis as and when required
  • To provide accurate insight to business issues and variances to the various plans
  • Identify opportunities for simplification and streamlining of activities
  • Work with the countries within the region to introduce common processes and share best practices
  • Support specific countries on activities when required, including ad-hoc analysis and specific projects.

Qualifications

  • Good communications skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Multinational company experience is a desirable, although not essential
  • Able to analyse data using key tools and techniques
  • Computer literate specifically with advanced use of Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Someone who is able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ideally exposure to SAP or Oracle or equivalent
  • Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or Qualified, or Qualified by Experience
  • Available at short notice for interviews and to start this role
